How many alarms/doses per day can be programmed?
Up to 6 daily alarms can be set, both audio and visual (flashing LED light on the lid), at the required times.
How long does the alarm sound?
The alarm will sound continuously for up to 30 minutes or until the pills are dispensed.
Is the alarm loud?
The pill dispenser includes 3 different alarm sounds at an appropriate volume level, making it easy to hear even when lying down or for those with hearing difficulties.
How do you stop the alarm?
Simply turn the pill dispenser upside down to stop the alarm.
Can the user open the pill dispenser?
Both lid options include a secure metal lock for added safety.
Is the product available in French?
Yes, the TabTime Medelert comes with dosage identification rings available in French, English, and Spanish.
How do I configure the alarm sound (3 volume levels)?
Press and hold button 3, then press button 1 at the same time to select sound option a, b, or c.
To change the sound again, repeat the process.
To switch to silent mode, press buttons 1 and 3 repeatedly until no letter appears on the display
How do I set the time?
The device defaults to 24-hour format. To switch between 12 and 24-hour formats, press buttons 2 and 3 at the same time. “AM” or “PM” will appear in 12-hour mode.
Time setting steps:
Press button 1 until the hour starts flashing.
Use button 2 to decrease and button 3 to increase the hour. Hold the button to scroll faster.
Press button 1 again to move to minutes, and adjust using buttons 2 or 3.
Press and hold button 1 for 5 seconds to save time.
Can I use the dispenser for just one dose per day?
Yes, it’s perfectly suitable for once-a-day medication schedules. The dispenser supports up to 6 doses per day and includes dosage rings for customization.
Are all 28 compartments used if taking one dose per day?
Yes, all 28 compartments can be used. One slot will be visible at all times. If preferred, users can load only 27 doses.
How do I cancel an alarm?
Press button 1 to scroll through the alarms. When you reach the alarm you wish to delete, use buttons 2 or 3 until the display shows "-:--". Press button 1 again to move through the other alarms until the current time is shown again.
What happens if someone forgets to take their pills?
If a scheduled dose isn’t taken, the dispenser will rotate to the next scheduled dose at the next alarm time. The missed pills will remain in their compartment, clearly indicating they were not taken.
Does the dispenser offer mobile remote monitoring?
The TabTime Medelert does not currently support mobile remote monitoring. However, Eugeria is working on a product with this functionality. You can subscribe to our newsletter to be notified when it's available.

The TabTime Medelert measures 9 inches in diameter and weighs less than 1 pound.
Is the TabTime Medelert lockable, and can I get an extra key?
Yes, the TabTime Medelert locks with a key. It is also possible to purchase an additional key if needed. You can find it on our website here:

Can I buy only the cover (transparent or white)?
No, you can only purchase the pill dispenser, additional keys or trays. You cannot purchase additional covers.
