 Yes but we recommend converting songs from .m4a to .mp3.
 Here’s how to do it using iTunes:

1. Open iTunes
2. Click on iTunes in the top menu, then select Preferences
   In General Preferences, click Import Settings
3. Under Import Using, select MP3 Encoder, then click OK
4. Select the tracks you want to convert
5. Go to File > Convert > Create MP3 version

The selected tracks will be converted to MP3 format.
There are also many free file converters online. For best results, convert files to mono and use a bit rate above 125kHz.
