Is the Call Volume Too Low ?Updated 2 months ago

At Eugeria, we understand that using a new phone should feel simple and reassuring—especially when it’s meant to support your daily comfort and communication. If the volume during calls on your VTech SN5147 seems too low, there are a couple of easy steps you can take to adjust it.

Take your time to explore these features. We’re here to help if you need us.

Have You Tried the Equalizer?

The Equalizer is a built-in function on both the cordless handset and the corded base of your phone. It lets you adjust the tone and sound quality of what you hear, so you can find a setting that’s more comfortable for your hearing.

  • The default mode is “Natural,” but you can switch to other sound profiles while on a call.

  • This small change can make voices sound clearer.

Would Audio Assist Help?

The Audio Assist feature is designed to boost the clarity and volume of the person speaking—whether you’re on a call or listening to a message.

On the cordless handset:

  • Press the AUDIO ASSIST / SOS button during a call or message playback.
The screen will briefly confirm that Audio Assist is turned on.

  • Press the same button again to turn it off.

On the corded base:

  • Press the AUDIO ASSIST button while you're on a call or listening to a message.

  • Press it again to turn the feature off.
